and climate varies from dry, hot deserts to cold tundra, moist rain
forests to temperate woodlands. The major mode of transportation
outside Mortal City is via rail-based vehicles
connecting various station modes, with Mortal City as the terminator-hub.
The land for hundreds of miles surrounding Mortal City is a blasted,
barren wasteland from the fallout of the city's acid rains and toxic
chemicals.
